SALLY BLOOM
New nominee. Westpark Board member since September 2021 (appointed by the Board to fill a vacant seat). Currently serving as Member at Large.
Sally purchased her unit in 2018 and loves living within walking distance of downtown Cary! She has 2 grown children living close by. Sally has lived in Michigan, then the suburbs of Holly Springs for 20 years. Her professional career was as a VP of Finance and Human Resources at a local software development company. She is now retired and would like to dedicate some of her time to helping the Westpark Board with special projects to enhance the beauty, and improve the community to protect our assets here in Westpark Condominiums. Currently Sally is coordinating the Window Replacement project and the Tree Removal/Pruning efforts.
DAN CHRISTOFF
Westpark Board member since September 2019 (appointed by the Board to fill a vacant seat). Elected by membership to serve full term at 2020 Substitute Annual Meeting. Currently serving as Treasurer.
Our family has been an owner in Westpark since mid-2019 and we are very excited to be a part of this community. We recently completed an extensive renovation of unit 114. Our daughter, Jessica is part owner and now lives in this unit. Our family has lived in Cary since 1999. My wife and I have also owned a condominium unit in Raleigh since 1985. I have previously served multiple terms on other HOA Boards of Directors (and as Treasurer). My goal in volunteering to continue serving on the Westpark Board is to bring some additional experience and perspective to the many challenges and opportunities that an association like ours faces now and will face in the years to come. One of my key interests is our long term financial plan, the strength of which is crucial to protecting and enhancing our community and thus all of our investments in our units. My professional life involves computer telephony technology. I enjoy hiking, racquetball, landscaping, and most all activities that involve creative thinking and hands-on effort.
TONY SAMPLE
Westpark Board member since December 2020. Elected by membership to serve full term at 2020 Substitute Annual Meeting. Currently serving as Member at Large.
My Wife and I became an owner in Westpark in September 2018. We purchased unit 148 from Martha and Mike and rented it back to them until they found a new home in June 2019. We completely remodeled the single bedroom unit and have a new tenant – a nurse, in June 2020.
My Wife and I purchased our home in downtown Cary, 314 S Harrison Ave, in February 1986. My Wife has retired from the NC DOT after 39 years and I retired from the NC DENR and a Private Mining Company as a Compliance Manager in 2016. I have no experience on an HOA Board but I am interested in enhancing our investment at Westpark and promoting Downtown Cary.
I look forward to continue serving on the board and assisting other property owners with regards to their properties.
TIM WILSON
Westpark Board member since Summer 2020 (appointed by the Board to fill a vacant seat). Elected by membership to serve full term at 2020 Substitute Annual Meeting. Currently serving as President.
Tim is an attorney at SAS and has lived at Westpark for two years. He has two college aged daughters and a black lab mix named Chessie. Tim would like to see better care taken of the properties and the landscaping and looks forward to meeting other owners.
DEANNA ZOLFO
Westpark Board member since February 2019 (appointed by the Board to fill a vacant seat). Elected by membership to serve full term at 2020 Substitute Annual Meeting. Currently serving as Secretary.
I have been an owner in Westpark since September 2018. Cary has always held a special place in my heart, as well as my family's, since relocating the Triangle area from New Jersey in 1994. Settling into Kildaire Farms, both my children attended Greenwood Forest Baptist Church preschool, and now both enjoying their high school years at Cary Academy. Earlier in my career, I was an an art teacher at Farmington Woods and Briar Cliff, was employed for several years at the Cary Arts Center, served several terms on the Board of Directors for Cary Visual Arts non-profit organization, selected as a member of Cary Academy's Community Outreach and Diversity Committees, and recently joined a philanthropy liaison for Cary's charter non-profit, Young Men's Service League, serving our local communities with my teen son. I look forward to working with other volunteers in our community to continue enhancing the beauty and safety of this aging community to keep it a hidden gem.
